The CEO of Scale Media, Inc., Matthew Howard Friedman of Great Neck, New York, heads a company that provides search engine marketing (SEM) services. Leading a team of experts in pay-per-click (PPM) marketing, Matthew Howard Friedman ensures that Scale Media’s clients get their money’s worth when they invest in SEM services. Outside of work, Matt Friedman enjoys watching the New York Jets of the National Football League.

Dedicated to serving the local community, the New York Jets contribute to a wide range of charitable causes, including the fight against systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), or lupus. One way that the Jets contribute to preventing and curing lupus is through their support of the Lupus Research Alliance, a collaboration of the Lupus Research Institute (LRI), the Alliance for Lupus Research (ALR), and the SLE Lupus Foundation. The alliance is also chaired by the Jets’ owner, Robert Wood Johnson IV. With a goal of preventing this autoimmune disease and eventually finding a cure, these three organizations have collectively donated more than $200 million to lupus research programs at universities, hospitals, and medical schools.

The Jets have also raised funding for lupus research through the Walk with Us to Cure Lupus program and the annual New York Jets Kickoff Luncheon.
